BUSINESS BRIEF

A Scalable, Asset-Backed Platform Deployed Through Strategic SPVs

EcoTech is launching two asset-backed Special Purpose Vehicles: one for North America's first full-scale domestic MgO board plant, the other for an advanced prefab facility built around the company's Gen 15 manufacturing line. Both projects are fully scoped, grant-aligned, and investment-ready.

The MgO board plant will supply certified, non-combustible sheathing to internal builds and external markets. The advanced prefab facility will manufacture EcoTech's proprietary JUMBO, TILT, and ROOF building systems — enabling faster, safer, and lower-carbon construction across multiple sectors.

Each SPV is structured around a strategic majority partnership designed to align with federal and provincial priorities — housing acceleration, clean-tech manufacturing, domestic supply chain development, and industrial decarbonization. The structure also opens eligibility for non-dilutive capital programs that further enhance project returns.

INVESTOR FAQ

Common Questions from Investors

Get answers to the most frequently asked questions about investing in EcoTech Building Solutions.

01 Is this just another prefab startup with unproven tech?
No. EcoTech's systems have been proven on real projects across North America and built on more than a decade of experience with MgO and prefabricated systems. The company's approach is to scale on top of this track record — not to experiment with untested concepts.
02 How capital-intensive is this model?
EcoTech's plant and equipment investments are designed to be funded with a balanced stack of equipment finance, asset-backed debt, and right-sized project equity — reducing the equity burden relative to a conventional industrial buildout. Each facility is modeled to ramp toward strong cash generation as utilization increases.
03 What about the risk of another Katerra-style failure?
EcoTech avoids the over-extended, do-everything approach. Instead, it focuses on its core strengths in MgO materials, automated building system production, and targeted SPV partnerships — leveraging existing programs and partners rather than carrying all project risk on its own balance sheet.
04 Will builders and architects actually adopt MgO and panelized systems?
Regulatory, insurance, and ESG pressures are steadily pushing the market toward non-combustible, energy-efficient building envelopes. EcoTech's CCMC and ICC-ES evaluated and listed assemblies, paired with design support, make it easier for architects and developers to specify these systems on projects that need speed, safety, and performance.
05 What are the exit possibilities for investors?
Over time, EcoTech can be attractive to building materials manufacturers, major contractors, and infrastructure or private equity platforms seeking an integrated prefab and MgO position in North America. There is also future potential for public markets once the plant network and revenue base are sufficiently scaled.
